Q&A

What clients ask us most often.

How much does a custom kitchen from Woodworx cost?

Every project is different. We've built budget renovations for a few thousand dollars, and we've delivered full estate homes for over $100,000. Cost depends on the size of your space and the spec you choose, so we don't quote a typical range. The good news is we can accommodate any budget. Share yours during a consultation, and we'll show you what's possible.

How long does a project take from quote to install?

From first contact to installation, project length varies. Typically, the design phase includes a consultation, measurements, a budgetary quote, then final selections and 3D renderings. How long that takes depends on your project's scope and how quickly you finalize decisions. Once the contract is signed and your deposit is received, manufacturing and installation typically take 4 to 6 weeks for a full new kitchen. We give you a firm timeline at contract signing so you know exactly when to expect your finished kitchen.

What materials and finishes do you offer?

Our material options include premium hardwoods such as maple, oak, walnut, and birch, as well as cost-effective industrial grade solutions like MDF, plywood, and melamine. For finishes, we provide fully customizable options ranging from painted and primed surfaces to stained wood, clear coats, and specialty finishes, plus high-gloss and matte lacquer finishes, textured laminates, and thermofoil applications where appropriate.

Do you offer financing?

For payment, we accept cash, cheque, bank draft, and EFT (e-transfer). We don't process credit cards. We also don't offer financing, either in-house or through outside partners.

What warranty do you offer?

One year from installation on all painted wood products, finishes, and craftsmanship. Lifetime warranty on all hardware. Should a problem present after one year, contact us and we will provide an assessment and propose a remedy at that time.

How does the design process work?

Our design process typically follows five steps. First, a consultation to talk through your vision and constraints. Second, general spec and measurements, often handled over email if you can share a few photos or your house plans. Third, a budgetary quote based on that early information. Fourth, once the budget works, we finalize spec, material selections, and 3D renderings. Fifth, the final quote and contract.

Do you handle installation, or is it supply-only?

We do both. Every cabinet is manufactured in our Nisku shop. Some customers buy supply-only when they're managing their own install. Others want a hands-off experience, and we handle the full project from design through installation.

Where do you work?

We serve Edmonton, Sherwood Park, St. Albert, Spruce Grove, Leduc, Beaumont, and Nisku. Projects outside this area are considered case by case; reach out and we will let you know.

Can I visit your showroom?

Yes, visits are welcome by appointment. Call us at 780-955-2097 or email info@edmontoncabinets.ca to book a time. Our shop hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM (by appointment).
